Bylaw Enforcement Survey

Bylaw enforcement is a local government service paid for by property taxes. In the Southern Gulf Islands, bylaw enforcement officers are provided by two governing bodies--the Islands Trust and the CRD (Capital Regional District). Despite many residents reporting experiencing unfair enforcement and bullying by complaint-driven enforcement practices, neither the Islands Trust nor the CRD has surveyed residents to find out how the enforcement service they provide are working on the ground. Please help us gather data by participating and telling others residents about the survey.

We're "ground-truthing" bylaw enforcement.

What questions should we be asking community members about their bylaw enforcement experiences?
